About

Armed Angels

After being inspired by the story of Robin Hood, Martin Höfeler founded Armed Angels in 2007.
Taking action, they constantly strive for innovation and progress, making their products even more sustainable.

Their latest achievement is their #DetoxDenim collection, using 40% less water and 64% less CO2, compared to conventional denim production. Using certified organic cotton, they ensure that no pesticides are being used during production. Additionally, they decided to take a pass on bleaches and other chemicals and dangerous processes like sandblasting used to create a used-look. Instead, they invested in environmentally friendly laser technology and ozone finishing.
Offering a variety of fits, they have a matching shape for everybody.

Another highlight is their naturally dyed capsule collection. Working together with Archroma, they used their GOTS approved bio-synthetic EarthColors® to create subtle colours for shorts, dresses, tees and sweatshirts. To create the dyes, agricultural and herbal waste like beetroot residues, rosemary or almond shells are being used.
Trying to limit transportation, the raw material is sourced mainly within 500km from the production site in Barcelona.

Each of their production sites is regularly audited and certified. Armed Angels produces mainly in Portugal and Turkey. When they started, it was easier to make sure, that their suppliers can hold up to their standards. But right from the beginning, their goal was to also improve the conditions for the environment and workers globally.
That's why they manufacture their jackets in the factory of Langerchen, in China and produce some of their denim in the same factory as Nudie Jeans, Denim Authority S.A, in Tunisia.
