About

Langerchen

Langerchen was founded in 2013 by Miranda Chen and Philipp Langer, whose combination also gives the brand its name. They built their brand with the three values of fairness, consciousness and sustainability without compromising on functionality and style.
Most of the jackets are vegan, apart from a few styles, which feature mulesing-free Eco-Wool.
Additionally, Langerchen proof, that "Made in China" can be sustainable, environmentally friendly and fair. In 2009 they founded a textile plant where they weave the fabrics and sew the jackets, which also reduces the necessity of transportation and helps them to assure, that the roundabout 100 employees receive fair pay and good working conditions.
That's so impressive, that other global fair fashion players like Armed Angels started to produce their garments in Langerchens textile plant Jiecco.
